Well, I have some exciting news to share.... I will be teaching in California at the end of August!! Woohoo!! This time Hubby will be joining me and giving me a helping hand as I teach as well as keeping me company for the trip! I am really looking forward to that!! So where will I be teaching in California...
Custom Impressions on the 23rd August
Treasured Memories on the 24th August
Ever After on the 25th August
As soon as I have my box of new Prima CHA Summer release goodies I will begin preparing my classes and be able to share sneaks for you all.
I am going to be one very busy girl when that box arrives as I have to do my samples for classes for ArtVenture New Zealand at the same time!! If you are interested in more information just click on the link. This is really going to be an amazing event and well worth attending!
I know this was a long time ago, but back at the end of April I flew across to Geraldton Western Australia to teach! A fantastic bunch of women, who all love Prima products!! Thanks so much to Marijke for having me over to teach and also a special shout out to Joanne and Addie (who flew up from Perth and stayed at the same B&B as I did) who made my evenings hilariously funny! Thanks girls!
Quite a packed class with 40 women in attendance. Yep, I was busy rushing around that day and the other challenge with such a big group is just making yourself heard. My voice was so raspy by the end of the day!!
Below is one of the projects I taught. So much fun to teach this mixed media canvas and I really love how cute the Prima Doll stamps by Julie Nutting look on this!
On my arrival in Perth my cousin picked me up and showed me a few of the sights of Perth before I had to fly out again. I have not been there since I was around 10 years old, so it was lovely to see a few of the sights. Had a gorgeous day, and brilliant company as well, which made it even better.
So, that is a little bit of getting things on this blog back up to speed! I also got a couple of photos with my Mum on Mothers Day. It is funny how you don't think about getting those pictures sometimes but so glad I was able to get a couple of good ones. It has been years since I had a photo of Mum and I together.
Managed to snap this picture of the kids the same day. Um...yes they were holding Ashton down!!
Speaking of Mothers Day, I got thoroughly spoilt! Hubby made me breakfast, banana pancakes with a coconut maple syrup topping and cream, yep totally decadent. Then he had his Mum and Sister over and cooked a full roast lamb, roasted veges and a delicious quiche and followed it up with a triple chocolate cheesecake for desert! Yummy!! He even cleaned it all up as well. If that wasn't enough, I also was given an ipad mini with a totally cute personalised cover! Yep he's a keeper!
I took a few more pictuers the other day as it was a perfect overcast day! Yep I love this time of year for photos as you can get gorgeous outdoor photos without big shadows. I know, I am fickle like that. But I have to confess I have been really poor in getting the camera out of late!!
Love this picture despite Ashton having his eyes closed. Sums up his personality very well!! He is always shutting his eyes for photos. He does it on purpose to frustrate me and thinks it is hilarious.
So, in finishing off this post I will share with you a set of tags and layout that I will be teaching at Paper Flourish in June. The tags are based around distress ink techniques using lots of Prima masks and stamps and then I use one of the tags on this layout to show how you can easily incorporate a tag. Love this premise as it guides the way you create the layout.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I always have good intentions of updating more frequently but alas I don't alway follow through! So thanks again for your patience!
