How can one little girl be so darn lucky and get so many winning attributes? I know I am her Mother and I will always look at her through bias eyes, but I am just amazed at how stunning she is, how engaging her personality is and that laugh!! Dont get me started on that infectious laugh!! I took these pics a few weeks back and have only got around to editing them this week. It was a walk that almost didnt happen, since it was raining when we left home, and then we sat in the car for 30 mins at our destination waiting for the rain to stop. But eventually the I-phone application that shows the weather was right and it did clear and we walked and I was able to capture some photos.
Look at all that glorious hair, even when it is a bit bedraggled from the rain! She was not happy about me taking photos of her!
And then there are her eyes! She has the dark outer circle to her eyes like mine, which make them pop but the colour of them is this unusual blue with hints of green, so amazing! That smile is pretty infectious as well!
She is officially one gorgeous girl in my opinion!! Every day she becomes more and more beautiful. I think her Daddy will be chasing off the boys in the future!!! For now, she is my very own little model!!
Here she is with her little friend Gracie. Each time Gracie comes over, Kaitlyn says, ever so sweetly, Gracie, come play in my room! Super cute!!
Sometimes photos make you abundantly aware of how quickly your kids are growing up!! I see old photos of my boys now and marvel at how young they looked and how much "older" they are looking now! It is sad, and exciting all in one. I miss the cute "little kid" look but there is so much to look forward to in seeing them grow and mature. I guess it is a feeling that most mothers experience as they see their little ones getting older!
Mr "I am too cool for this" Lachlan. But in the next instant wants a cuddle from his Mum!! Then 3 seconds later arguing and yelling that apparently we dont listen to him! One day he will work out that we can listen to him and still not agree with him!!
My crazy knee ripping lad, Cameron! Gee he can be one crazy kid at times but although he may protest when I give him a hug and kiss, he is still grinning like crazy as he pretends he wants to get away. But I know he really loves the attention!
Ethan, the attention seeking middle child! Yes he is the middle child, at no 3 in a family of 5 that qualifies as the middle child and he acts accordingly! He loves nothing more than to torment his siblings, especially Kaitlyn as she is younger and reacts so well!
Then there is this little guy, who I took some photos of all on his own today! I have to try and keep a bit of a photographic record, month by month!! He is still sick and looks it! Poor little chap! I dragged my white backdrop out onto the front porch, draped it over a chair and took a couple of shots, but he had one eye half closed in most of them. I had to keep wiping his little nose as well! I probably should wait until he feels better before photographing him!
I gave him a sour-sob flower to play with, it captivated him until he chewed the head off it! Pulled some funny faces at the sour taste!
I love this little jumper on him, makes him look like a "preppy school boy". All grown up, well sort of!
Ah, see no more yellow flower on the end of that stem!! All chomped up! Don't worry, I fished it out of his mouth, it was spoiling the photos having yellow in there! LOL!!!
So now that you all have the kid update, lets move onto sharing some LO's! So many to share lately!
Firstly, my offerings for Aussie Scrap Source Blog
I have wanted to scrap the photo on this layout for a while but hadn't had the right page for it. Loved working with this Chic Bebe Boy range by Teresa Collins. I added some Prima Flowers to it as well! The touch of fabric of them just added so much texture.
Now in the US, Fathers Day is in June, well that is quite convenient for me since Pauls birthday is in June, so I made this basket for him, with all his fave edible goodies in it and was also able to use it for a Prima project! Paul, if you are reading this, just ignore that, it was all for you, never about anything else, just you!!! Mwaaaaaahhhh! xxxx
I got the kids to tell me why they loved Dad and then I put them on the little tags.
Other things happening this week....
Cam gets his stitches out tonight, so hopefully it all goes well once they are removed!
My parents returned yesterday from a 6 week tour. They went on a biblelands, reformation tour. I cant wait to see all their pictures and to hear more about it. From parents who hadnt travelled overseas before, they said they went through 4 countries in one day!! OK those 4 countries were all part of the fomer Yugoslavia! LOL! They tell me Croatia is absolutally beautifull as is Northern Italy. Cairo was a culture shock and Singapore was beautiful and clean. It was only a quick phone call yesterday as they had to ring other people and advise of their safe return, but I am sure I will hear a lot more details next time we catch up.
OK fully updated, I think! Thanks for stopping by!!
