More Photos!!

Don't you just love it when you get those perfect pictures!!  It's a scrapbookers dream!  Well, Steph, Kylie and myself got together today at Stephs place with the intention of getting some fabulous pictures of our little baby girls.  Kylie was the designated photographer (she also did the pregnancy pictures for Steph and I) and once again she did an amazing job!  Thanks Kylie!!!  So here are some of the results!!

Kylie was even able to capture this gem of Kaitlyn smiling.  She gave me her first precious smile at the end of 5 weeks of age.  She was sitting on Pauls lap, looked directly at me and gave me a precious smile!  Talk about melt your heart.  Everytime she smiles I just melt, I'm so bad, I can be at work, talking to someone on the phone and she smiles at me, I literally stop mid sentence and have to appologise for my oohh and aahing because my baby just smiled at me!  She is now 9 weeks old and this is the first time those smiles have been caught on camera!

Now this is one angelic little baby girl!!

How cute is this picture of the 4 of us!!  The two babies were just captivated by all the flashing lights.  Mind you neither of them would settle into a deep sleep for the whole day!  A bit too much excitement for their little brains!

I just adore this picture of Kaitlyn, Ethan and myself.  Now we just need to get an updated picture of the whole family!!  As you can see, Kylie did a fantastic job yet again and I just can't wait to scrap some of these pictures!

We all had a fabulous time and Emma and Ethan played brilliantly together.  Mind you they exhausted themselves and Ethan fell asleep in the car on the way home, complete with chip hanging out the corner of his mouth!

And Dad, if you are reading this, these pics are just for you as I know how much you love the updates!!  Maybe you will have to update your wallpaper on your computer now!

Another Day...

Well I had an absolutely lovely surprise yesterday at work... I looked out of the window to see a familiar car pull up, then Steph and Madison came in!!!  I was soooo excited as I hadn't had an opportunity to meet the extremely cute little Madison!  I take Kaitlyn into work with me, so we had both of our beautiful bubbies side by side and thankfully Steph had the foresight to bring her camera and we snapped some adorable pictures of the girls together!  They are 3 weeks apart in age, but Madison (who is younger) is the same length as Kaitlyn, but Kaitlyn is a touch plumper.

It was great just to sit and chat with Steph.  Took us all of 2 seconds to start talking paper and all things scrap related.  Actually I will edit that and say the first half hour was definately baby related chat, then we progressed to scrap chat.  We hadn't seen each other for absolutely ages so it was wonderful to be able to catch up and just talk for ages.  Steph emailed me a couple of adorable pictures of the two bubbies together.  Soooooo cute!!!!

Now how adorable are these two little dark haired angels!!!  In case you don't recognise which one is which, Kaitlyn is on the left and Madison is on the right.

I also had Kaitlyns 6 week checkup yesterday (even though she was exactly 7 weeks yesterday).  She is gaining weight really well and is now 5kg!!  This little treasure has gained 2kg in 7 weeks!  It is amazing how quickly they plump up.  Her milk pimples have all disappeared now, so she once more has a radient complexion.  Now I need to take some close ups of her. Any excuse will do!  She also started smiling in direct response to us last week.  She has had huge wind smiles previous to this, but now they are directed directly at us.  Still few and far between, but that keeps you eager for the next one!!  The first one, I had passed her over to Paul so I could jump in the shower to get ready for work, she looked straight at me and gave me a huge smile.  Talk about melt your heart.

In other news...my Nanna has moved from Murray Bridge (1.5hr trip away) to 5 mins from our place.  It is so nice to have her close as she has really missed out on seeing my kids growing up as she didn't drive and it has been too difficult for me to travel that far to see her.  I have already popped in for a visit today and plan to pop over a lot in the future as she will be 90 in January, so I need to make the most of the time I have with her.  Nanna and I have a lot in common and I often feel that I am a great deal like her in personality, so it is lovely that we can spend more time together.

Thought I would also share a page or 2 that I have created lately.  I am finally feeling like creating but am really struggling to make any time to scrap.  I am a firm believer that we can make time to do the things we want but I am discovering that I am just not left with any time to make for scrapping at the moment.  The desire is strong but Kaitlyns demands are much greater as is my need for sleep, so I am choosing early nights over staying up to scrap.  Can you blame me when I know I will be up a couple of times through the night?
