Some of you may remember when Creative Edge was run a few years ago! It was a fabulous weekend full of scrapbooking, that many of you enjoyed. Well, I have decided to run a Creative Edge Day! A day packed with 3 classes, full of techniques and projects to delight! Great class kits, that make fabulous projects for you to create and take home.
Who will be Teaching those Classes?
Kate Mason Who has been a For Keeps Elite Team Member 2005,and a Design Team member for For Keeps in 2006 as well as co-authoring the book "Times of our Lives" and "The Heart of Design",will be teaching a fabulous mini album class using the amazing Prima Canvas album! There have been a couple of these canvas mini albums featured on the Prima blog. Here are a couple of those samples:

As you can see this fabulous Canvas album is perfect for decorating with art mediums and a touch of whimsy which is PERFECT for a class taken by Kate Mason who just loves to delve into her paints, mists, stamps, fabric, beads, string,transparecny, book pages and above all else mod-podge and napkins!! The album is 9x9 and offers the perfect opportunity to try something new and fun! So keep your eyes on this blog for more details as they emerge.

Steph Caskey-Devlin Who has been an Elite Team Member for For Keeps Magazine in 2006 as well as on their Design Team in 2005, co-authored the book "Traditions". Steph is currently on the Aussie Scrap Source Design Team, Kitshy Digitals Design Team, Color Combos Galore Design Team and an Endoresed educator for Tattered Angels.
Steph will be teaching a layout using techniques involving Glimmermist! This wonderful product by Tattered Angels offers so much fun and flexibility when creating layouts and allows you to get that 'arty' feeling! Stephs pages are always vibrant and bursting with energy and the tips and techniques you will learn from this class will inspire you to play with this very versatile medium much more!

These two examples by Steph, show masking with glimmermist as well as Stephs tissue paper, glimmermisted flowers. And the beauty of glimmermist is that it suits all types of pages, not just these stunning girly layouts, but is perfect for swimming pages or boy pages as well, once you know some techniques with it, your options open up completely! Hopefully this gives you a bit of an idea of what you will learn in Stephs class!
Janine Koczwara Currently on the For Keeps Creative Paper Elite Team 2009, Prima Flower Girl 2009, Chatterbox Design Team and Color Combos Galore Design Team.
Janine will be teaching layouts that focus on altering Flowers, by painting and adding art mediums to the paint, such as irridescent medium, stamping, embossing and adding stamens for a customised embellishment to the page. Tips on grouping clusters of flowers will also be covered and we will dabble with a few other wonderful Prima products.
These two examples both show altered flowers to give you a bit of an idea of what will be taught by Janine in her class!
Hopefully that gives you just enough information to wet your appetite for more! The Creative Edge day is scheduled for 13th September! Still a bit in the future, but well worth keeping an eye on!
