Well, I am trying new things!! I hope I am learning how to do things like uploading video to here!! Little Mr Ashton has been making the sound of the word "hello" to the boys "requests". It is adorably cute. Now keep in mind this kid still does not say the babble of dada, baba or mama yet. He does a wawawa sort of sound but can mimic the sound of hello!! If I tell him to say mamama he usually responds with his wawawa as that is his sound interpretation. So, so cute.
So lets hope that I have got this to work properly!!!
Now to go with cute things like little baby talk, come some things which at first seem amusing, but after the 10th time in a day it is done, suddenly becomes one of the most annoying things possible!! You see, the first time the two little rascals did this, it was mildly amusing and they were happy for ages, so I had peace and quiet, but then, no one wanted to put the stuff back, so it became my responsibility! Not so much fun but I made the most of it and decided it was a good way to "organise" my cupboard! Well it was neat and organised for all of 2 seconds before they decided it was fun to start doing it all over again. Lets say I go a lot more forceful in my wording to Kaitlyn after the 5th time I had packed my cupboard away and she pulled it all out again!
Now I wont do any more little videos this post, dont want to overload you all! LOL! But I am so glad that Lachlan wanted a video recorder and saved all his Christmas money for it!!! Especially since I seem to use it more than he does! LOL!! He doesnt seem to notice or care so that is even more of a win/win situation.
This week on The Color Room we went back to the girls room but boy did I struggle with this combination!! It was probably the most challenging set of colours I have done for a while and many a sheet of paper was destroyed in the process!
The sketch was stunning also, and I tried to use it for inspiration as well, but it didnt eventuate either! LOL! So this is what I came up with in the end!
I even broke out the gesso and created some paint texture on my page after being inspired by a video tutorial on Julie Fei-Fan Balzar's Blog. She has released a DVD with Cloth Paper Scissors. So very very cool.
I have also had a few more pages up on the Prima Blog. I did 10 LO's for CHA so there should be quite a few LO's being shared over time! LOL!
I really loved this LO I created. It took me quite some time as it has a lot of french knots in all those little flowers around the circle and the hand stitching across the LO took a bit of time as well. I spent a lot of time on small details on this CHA's LO's. Things like hand-stitching and stuff as I am in that phase I think. I actually hate to think just how much time I spent creating these LO's but it was a lot of long days with late nights and early mornings! LOL! I have quite enjoyed only doing a couple of LO's since getting these finished, kind of like a holiday!
I will say it again, I love the vibrancy of the Paisley Road LIne!! Just love it! I also had a LO with that photoshop edited pic on it on the blog. This one uses the new Annalee Line. Very pretty line indeed.
Well, that will be all for now. It is a bit like picture overload with my posts right now but I have so many LO's I can share on here and I think I forget some of them! LOL!
OK I said I had shared enough video footage of the little rugrats but this was just sooooooo cute (in a mothers opinion!!)
So maybe that I-pad that DH got has some use in this household!! LOL! It also makes me want to record so much more of my kids antics. Can you tell I am obsessed with a new toy!! LOL!! I love my photos but these little videos capture the very personality of my kids, the little bits I know that I am probably going to slowly forget as the years pass. The sound of Kaitlyns giggle and the such-like, you know the antics that can only be remembered fully with visual and sound. OK but this really is all I am going to share now! So bye for now and thanks for Looking!
