How on earth can it take so long to organise my scrap area? So far 2 whole days have been dedicated to the task and yet so much more still needs to be done! I am trying to find/make room for all my Prima goodness and in the process have managed to sweet talk my DH into making me a couple of shelving units. One was just not enough!! He did suggest I needed to purge some stuff, but I just glared at that suggestion!! You never know when you are going to need something!!! But it did get me thinking that I should do another RAK very soon. So stay tuned, once i have cleared and uncluttered the space I am sure that there will be plenty for a RAK.
I have been taking a break this week from scrapbooking. After so much frenzied creating last week I just needed to have a break before I have to get back into it all again. Here are another couple of layouts that I created for CHA.
I had started putting different flowers together for this LO before I received my box of brand new Prima, so I had to rethink the LO and change the flowers over to brand new ones. The bottom dark purple flower was originally a white 'innocence collection' until I used glimmermist to re-colour it. Love the shape of that flower. I could have lots of packs of these in white as I love the shape and the colour options become limitless with glimmermists, inks, paints etc. They really are perfect for customising for your layouts.
I had a delightful visit from Steph on Monday. We chatted, drooled over Prima, took some photos and ate tasty food together! What is not to like about that combination?? There were so many children in the house, ok only 2 more than usual, but those 2 managed to stir up some squealing from a couple of mine (something I am not so used to, thank goodness) which was a bit of fun!! The kids all played really well together which was wonderful! We even got a couple of good shots. Maybe not the ones we were hoping for, like lots of lovely ones of Miss M and Miss K together, as these two didnt want to share the spotlight together, but other lovley shots!
In a previous post I mentioned how I have been doing quite a bit of sewing lately. Well one of the little outfits i made was for Madison and I gave it to her on Monday. I had to get a shot of her in it to share, well that was no problem getting her in it, the moment she saw it, off came one lot of clothes and on with her new skirt and top. She looked positively adorable in it!!
OK I admit my laundry doorway is not the most glamorous spot for a picture, but I like the composition of Madi standing and Emma sitting in this shot and it gives you a full view of the skirt and top!
I am still in the process of making a few more sets for for some friends. Hopefully I can make some time to get these finished and delivered to them over the next weeks/month!! You cant rush these things, it all depends upon the sleep patterns of a certain infant in the house, who of late has turned a bit rogue!
Before I could get many more, my friend Cristi arrived to get pics of her little boy so my picture taking of the boys came to a halt! But I did get a couple of cute pics of Ashton on Saturday. A shot of him sort of smiling that isnt blurry!! He gives me the biggest grins when the camera isnt around but the moment the camera comes into sight, the smiles vanish!
Well if i have any chance of getting much more done I need to get off this computer!! TFL!!
