It was my baby nieces 1st birthday on the weekend and my SIL wanted me to take some pictures for her as our gift for baby Summer! Freaks me out a little bit, but at least it is still family, so they have to be nice about the job I do for them! LOL!! Little Summer looks so much like her Mother and Auntie (Paul has identical twin sisters) when they were little it is uncanny. Mind you, she did NOT want to co-operate for me! She would grin her little heart out at me when I wasnt holding the camera, but the moment the camera went up to my eye, well that smile dissappeared in seconds! Leanne and Donna (Summers parents) were exhausted by the end of it as they couldnt believe how much effort it took to try and get some good shots! So here are a couple of my favourites...
I know the first pic is an odd angle but Leanne was holding Summer above her head and dropping her down!
Its her party and she can chew on her party hat if she wants to!! Summer has beautiful blue eyes!
Donna kept throwing Summer way up in the air and I just waited until she came back down to head height and snapped away. Love the way Donna is looking up to where Summer is about to be thrown!! These were the biggest smiles we got from her and having Summer facing me was perfect to capture her expressions.
I hope that Leanne and Donna will like these pics. It is a bit nerve racking to say the least when you know that it isn't just photos for yourself. Crossing my fingers that she likes them!
OK, I am 27 weeks pregnant now! Time is just flying like you wouldn't believe! Before I packed up after the photo shoot I got Paul to snap a couple of pics of me to keep my baby album updated! In some respects I don't look as big in these pictures as I often feel! LOL!! Mind you I have edited one of the pics to cut out my butt as that is looking remarkably bigger!
So there is the bump!! He is still a very quiet baby, but does tend to tap dance on my bladder from time to time! Funny thing is that I used to feel Kaitlyn doing somersaults but this little bubby is stealth like when he goes from head down to head up! The only way I can tell is when he starts to wriggle whether he is kicking me near the ribs or tickling my bladder! Roll on head down permanently as the tickling my bladder drives me nuts!!!
I have been very quiet on the scrapping front for the last week. I think I have been more motivated to do stuff around the house rather than scrap, but then again, I did do a truckload of layouts for CHA a fortnight ago, so maybe I just need the rest.
One of those LO's has gone up on the Prima blog! I just loved so many of the papers they released for CHA and wished i had more of them to play with, but Prima literally had just a few sample sheets printed for the purpose of DT creating displays for CHA, so we have to be patient like everyone else. This paper was the first sheet I cut into, yet ironically was the last LO I finished!
Words can not express how much I just love all the new gallery and trellis roses that have been released! I swear that my heart skips a beat each time I get them out and start to put them on a LO! Yes, I know, I need to get a LIFE!!
I will share an older layout that I have done! I really do love to cluster the flowers on my girly LO's, it is just such a feminine thing to do!
Did this one ages back with lots of velvet flowers and leaves, bling and digital brushes printed onto transparency, along with a touch of a serviette modpodged onto it. Got to love that big cheeky smile!!
I also found out this week that my brother got the job he really wanted but he will be moving to the Gold Coast! He has finally finished all his training for his specialty in Cardiology and Echo Cardiology and has been looking into jobs across Australia, several places wanted him, but he has chosen the position on the Gold Coast. It will be sad when they move to the Gold Coast in January, but I am really happy for him as he has been working so hard, both as a dr in the hospital as well as doing further study for the specialty. Mind you, I still see him as the nasty brother that constantly teased me through my childhood and made my life a living hell as a kid! Funny to think people trust him with their lives now!!! If only they knew what he was like back then!
Well, I had best be off to bed as today I purchased a big 10L tin of paint....DH has a day off tomorrow and I can feel the whip cracking as I type!! LOL!! I also got a 4L tin of gloss in triple strength of the same colour and I plan to attack the doors in the house as I swear some have never been painted since the house was built!! And we are not the first owners!! I tell you, I am on a mission!!
TFL!

oh my, you're a beauty, girl!! and your belly is soo beautiful!! love your shots and layouts!! hugs!!

There's nothing better than riding the high of the last renovation to keep you going! Do it while you're on a role. You'll be so happy. Remember, it's part of the nesting too!
Beautiful layouts too. You're always so very able to amaze me with your creativity.
