It's in the air...the festive feeling, invading our lives to add a little more stress and fun! Can't say I am much of a Christmas person! Mostly I view it as a time of the year designated to consumerism! Now don't get me wrong, I enjoy catching up with my family and the whole xmas lunch with rellies, but I do find this time of year a touch stressful, both with time management and financially. The paradox of my way to ease one of these stresses, invariably results in an increase in the other! LOL!! You see, I thought it would be a nice idea to make gifts for my parents and inlaws, which obviously takes a fair amount of time! Needless to say I have a long way to go to finish my projects and as it is already December, time is not on my side! I will persevere!
This month,(2 weeks time) Kaitlyn will reach 5 months of age! I am hopeless at taking her to get weighed or measured, again a time management issue! But I had to get her 4 month imunisations done the other week and asked the Nurse to weigh and measure her. Well the celulite on her thighs obviously reflects her weight!! She came in at a hefty 7kg's, which puts her just under the 90th percentile for her age. She must be getting full cream milk from her Mummy! I have always considered her to be a short and chubby baby, but she measured in at 66cm in length which put her at the 90th percentile for height as well. That certainly surprised me!
I also caught up with Steph, Emma and Madison the other week. We went around to Lydells place for a lovely morning and lunch. Obviously the main topic of conversation was scrapbooking, but I was able to sneak in a few pictures of the girls together!
Aren't these 2 little cherubs just gorgeous!! Yes I have already scrapped this picture!
As far as things that Kaitlyn can do now, well, not much! She still hasn't rolled over, in fact the most she can do is get onto her side and then loses interest in trying to go further! No sitting yet, still working on the whole body control thing! But she can giggle to her hearts content, coo and babble and loves nothing more than me talking to her!
I have also found that I am taking heaps of pictures of Ethan and Kaitlyn together and not many of the other 2 boys with their sister, but I guess that is what happens when you have 2 at home with you and 2 at school! Just love this picture of E and Kaitlyn together so I had to print it big and do a LO. I have used the new Bohemia papers, colours worked perfectly.
