I can't believe that time goes so quickly. My little girl is 12 weeks old on Tuesday! I have no idea where that time has gone. She has started to swipe at her toys while lying on the floor mat. If her little hands miss then her kicking usually makes some form of contact. She also grasps her toys in a clumsy manner. Kaitlyn is also displaying early signs of being a thumb sucker!! I'm trying to prevent this but I may be losing this battle! LOL!! She will often pull her dummy out of her mouth and replace it with her hand. Can't say I'm keen on this but it is very cute at the moment. This morning I went in to check on her as she had slept a long time (went down at 10.30pm and went right through until 7.30am this morning!! Her longest sleep ever!) so the worried Mummy that I am had to check she was alright and there she was with her thumb in mouth sucking away. It was soooooooo cute, I went back to bed smiling to myself. My only problem with thumb sucking is that it can't be taken away like a dummy can when she is 3 or 4!!
Some updated pictures for you. I am finding it hard to get picks of all the kids together! I really want to try and get some of them for Xmas cards this year so I will keep trying. I like this pic, purely because all the boys are smiling and that is a feat in itself!
We also went down to my brother and SIL's place during the week and I had to try and get a picture of Kaitlyn with her cousin Emily. The kids had a ball while they were there as Stirling (my brother), Dee (SIL) and myself took turns chasing the kids around the backyard and tickling them! I guess small things amuse them still!
I took these pictures yesterday. I swear this little cherub looks like one of those porcilain dolls! She has the most beautiful skin! When I looked at the pictures on my computer I just cracked up when I saw the last one! So that is what she thinks of me taking so many pictures!!
Ethan made my morning this morning by proclaiming that he is still a Mummy's boy!! Complete with big hugs and cuddles. When Paul tried to get in on the action and asked if he was a Daddys boy, he pushed him away and firmly said NO, I'm Mummys boy!!! YAY, I finally have one of the boys that is still a Mummy's boy!!! So stoked about that as the other 2 are Daddy's boys all the way! It's kind of a standing joke in our house.
Enough ramblings from me! I want to try and photograph the LO's I have created for Kaitlyns album and share them on my blog. So maybe I will share some more LO's in my next post!
